Terms and Conditions

TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT

This agreement is made between Authentic Travel Group and its associated travel advisors, who are also known as independent contractors (collectively, “Authentic Travel Group”) and those individuals listed below as travelers (each, a “Client” and collectively, “Clients.")

Clients understand that Authentic Travel Group is not the supplier of the travel services that have been requested. Authentic Travel Group acts solely as an agent for the actual suppliers of the travel services. Clients have been advised that the suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to them are those who are actually responsible for providing the travel services they have purchased.

Clients consent to and request the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold Authentic Travel Group responsible should any of these suppliers:  1) fail to provide the travel services purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes Clients any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience.

Clients accept Authentic Travel Group is not responsible for, nor will Clients attempt to hold it liable for, any injury, damage or loss Clients may suffer on account of any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control.

Clients agree and understands that it is your personal decision to travel, and you are doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regards to the risks of COVID-19. We assume no responsibility for and shall not be liable for unsafe conditions or health hazards including pandemics or other illnesses. We have no special knowledge of dangers during travel or at destinations. For information related to such dangers, we recommend going to the State Department travel website at www.travel.state.gov, click on "Find International travel Information” then click on "Country Information", and fill in the name of the destination country. For medical and health information, we recommend going to the Centers for Disease Control website at www.cdc.gov/travel, then click on “Destinations” and scroll to the name of the destination country.

Clients agree and understand that we have no responsibility for COVID-19-related requirements that travel suppliers and governments may impose from time to time, such as required vaccinations, health affidavit forms, COVID-19 screenings prior to departure, upon arrival or return, face coverings, or quarantines. For the latest COVID-19 government travel regulations, we recommend going to IATA’s website here.

For the latest travel supplier requirements, check the website of each supplier, and keep checking because these rules are constantly changing, and we are not responsible for those changes.

Clients further understand and acknowledge that travel to many parts of the world may involve the risk of a variety of hazards to my health and/or safety, including but not limited to disease, crime, terrorism, warfare and financial default/bankruptcy of suppliers. Because each traveler’s risk tolerance is different, Authentic Travel Group is not in a position to advise Clients whether they should travel to any particular place at any particular time.  Rather, to assist Clients in making an informed decision, Clients should refer to objective third-party sources of travel information such as that maintained by the U.S. Department of State (www.travel.state.gov) and the CDC (www.cdc.gov).

Clients understand it is their responsibility to review their travel documents for accuracy immediately upon receipt and understand that they may contact Authentic Travel Group if they have any questions.

Clients understand that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires Clients to carry a government-issued identification card in order to board a flight.  Clients have been advised that the name, date of birth and gender that appears on the identification card must exactly match the same data that is listed on Clients’ airline ticket and in Clients’ booking records. Clients acknowledge that their failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding or an undue delay at an airport security checkpoint causing Clients to miss their flight. Clients understand that changing any aspect of their travel arrangements may result in additional costs. Clients have been advised to use a credit card as this may offer protection.

Clients further acknowledge that beginning on May 3, 2023, Clients must present a driver’s license or another form of identification that complies with the requirements of the Federal Real ID Act (see www.dhs.gov/real-id for more information).  Clients understand that if traveling internationally, Clients must have a valid passport and, depending upon their destination and nationality, Clients may need to obtain one or more visas.

Clients understand it is their responsibility to carefully review all entry requirements to all destinations. Passport and visa information may be obtained by contacting the Travel Agent Section of the U.S. State Department at 202-647-5225 or by visiting the State Department’s website at www.travel.state.gov. Non-U.S. passport holders should be sure to contact the embassies of their destination and transit countries to obtain entrance requirements. To obtain medical information Clients may contact the Centers for Disease Control at 404-332-4559 or visit the CDC’s website at www.cdc.gov.

Clients understand that Authentic Travel Group always recommends purchasing trip insurance to cover risks inherent to travel. Should Clients decline to buy trip insurance, Clients will not hold Authentic Travel Group responsible for any cancellations or trip interruptions.

Finally, Clients understand that Authentic Travel Group will be charging a non-refundable Travel Design Fee before beginning to work on any trip requests. The fee will be based on trip complexity and will be mutually agreed upon at the start of the booking process. This is in addition to Airline Ticketing Fees.

Also, when travel plans are changed, cancelled or delayed there may be additional fees charged. However, Authentic Travel Group will not charge any fee without consulting with Clients first and obtaining Clients’ express permission and approval of these fees.
